I am from Paducah, KY. I graduated from Reidland High School in 2007. Then, I pursued my college goals by attending the University of Louisville, and then continued my college education at Murray State University, where I graduated, Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I was then blessed with my first teaching job as a 4th grade teacher at Hendron Lone Oak Elementary. Last year, I earned my Master’s Degree in Reading and Writing Instruction from Murray State University.

 

I spend most of my free time with family and friends. I am the oldest of three siblings. I love traveling and being outdoors! I also enjoy running and playing sports (especially basketball and softball). This summer I picked up a new hobby. I now play tennis!

 

This is my 7th year of teaching at HLOE, and I am so excited to continue to be a part of the wonderful Hendron family, and McCracken County district. I am thrilled to continue my teaching journey in 3rd Grade. I cannot wait to see what adventures we will face and learning that will take place. 

 

I am keeping myself accountable to your children and their overall well-being. My job doesn’t just include the valuable content. My job is to keep your children safe, to care for them, and to provide them with a positive and encouraging learning environment.
